Sebastian deals with the luxury of consciously or even randomly flipping stages around himself, revealing a scent of nomadic desire, that pushes aside memories, feelings and permanence. As you enter and then leave, the video captures the memory of the space and prolongs his own memories into space.
Despite the fact that the artist calmly invites the viewer in the intimacy of his surroundings, the video holds a certain violence. He constructs with care each part of his environment and renders a horizontal time in a humanist atmosphere – with characters discreetly inserted in some scenes, with private items forgotten along the screenplay and memories randomly juxtaposed in other sections.
We are offered a rigid system that allows us to analyze our way of seeing and acting. The newly born vortex may suck the viewer into his personal structure, while the visual contact is compulsory and once you miss a step, you are thrown back in the door-moderated reality.
